Advanced¶
The In-chat Ads path — a fetch key, a fetch, a
rendered "Sponsored" card, self-tracking clicks, conversions — is all you need
to run live, measured ads. Everything on this page is optional and
additive. Reach for it once the core loop is working.
Some items below ship today; others are beta or roadmap and marked as such. Nothing here is required for a first integration.
Conversational flow creatives¶
Instead of a static card, a fetch can return a small, bounded,
advertiser-authored conversation — message nodes, tappable choices,
optional intent edges, and an ending action — that your surface executes
locally. Flows are opt-in: request them with adFormat=Flow.

Web embed (beta)¶
Run flow creatives inside standard display slots on a web page with a ~5 KB drop-in script. In beta today.
Semantic selection & the appropriateness gate¶
When you send conversational context
with a fetch, selection becomes semantic: the conversation's meaning is
matched against candidate ads, and an appropriateness check can decline to
serve any ad at all in sensitive moments (a health crisis, grief, a heated
support thread), returning a normal no-fill instead. Context is used at
serve time and is not stored.
Decision traces¶
Mark a fetch with test to exclude it from reporting and receive
rule-by-rule disqualifications explaining why each line item did or did
not win — a decision trace for debugging targeting.
Pacing & adaptive rotation¶
When a line item has multiple creatives, rotation is adaptive: creatives that earn more engagement are served more often while every creative keeps a share of exploration traffic. Ads with daily budgets are paced evenly across the day. Sequential rotation opts out.
Operate your account from an agent¶
The management MCP server turns Claude (or any MCP host) into a management console for your account — ad units, line items, creatives, campaigns, and live performance — running with your own sign-in and permissions.

Roadmap
An in-console assistant that authors and tunes campaigns from natural language, built on the same management surface as the management MCP, is on the roadmap and not yet generally available.
