AdKit¶
AdKit is the set of client tools for serving in-chat ads from a chatbot or AI assistant. It handles the parts of an integration that every bot needs: fetching an ad, presenting it with the Sponsored label, and reporting what happens to it. Each piece works alone or with the others.
Components¶
| Component | What it is | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
MCP server, @advertising-chat/mcp |
A local Model Context Protocol server with two modes. In serve mode, with your fetch key, it gives an agent the ad tools fetch_ad, record_event, and record_reply. In manage mode, with your console login, it gives an AI assistant the Offer Manager tools. |
Your agent's host supports MCP. See the MCP quickstart, or Manage Offer Manager from an AI assistant. |
| Ad Skill | Instructions for the model: when to fetch an ad, how to pass context, how to label and render the ad, and how often to show one. | Always. It pairs with the MCP server or with your own tools. |
Node SDK, @advertising-chat/sdk |
A typed client for the Fetch API, with render helpers for webchat and WhatsApp. Node.js 18 or later, no runtime dependencies. | Your code decides where ads appear, or implements the tools for a model API. See the Node SDK quickstart. |
All three use your fetch key and the Fetch API to serve ads. The packages are published on npm.
